ECOSEAS 2010 LOGO
ECOSEAS 2010 is “The 1st International Conference on Managing Ecosystem Health of Tropical Seas: Environmental Management in Coastal Ecosystem”. Hope the title is not too much for those who are not too familiar with such academic and scientific jargon.
I designed this logo for Ecoseas 2010 with all that are needed to represent the conference. The brown coloured framed with the tree trunks are to highlight the vital aspect in coastal vegetation management and protection. The frame spells the conservation aspect of the environment. The white sea waves are dynamic activities of its nature. Strong energy output is rendered in wave form stretching uniformly like tidal waves. The blue colour represents the sea in vastness covering three quarter of the space. Finally, the community to represent all in the blue ocean is given to the coral bed drawn in the form and shape of staghorn coral.
If you think the title of the conference can twist your tongue, wait till you read the objectives and programme of this meeting. Unless you are scientifically and academically incline to this subject, otherwise it will be best to put in simple coffee shop language as “Ah Kow, Let’s Not Dirty and Quarrel the Sea 2010″.
The conference will be held on 19-21 October 2010 at Marriot Hotel, Putrajaya, Malaysia.
