The air in KL was hazy and hot. Fortunately, the same day when I landed in Ngurah Rai airportĀ Bali, the air was cooling and the sea breeze was truly comforting. As usual, my rush hour is back the next day with 4 appointments. Need a bit of juggling act to meet my clients with time through breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner to fill with names like Martin, Graham, Jardine, Wayan, Henry and Freddy. Managable.

Traditionally dressed Balinese during a ceremonial prayer.
The meetings overshot my expectation as the discussion went overboard when realising the jobs we were talking about are like thousand of miles away in Koh Samui, India and Jamaica! Well, this is Bali, the art centre of the world.
Anyway back to the real world, the current happenings around me were the nice and crisp pisang goreng where you are to bite and chew together with the really hot chilly padi and not forgetting the 13 mini dishes of food varieties for my nasi padang. Though Made and I were used to eating and grazing like cows but I remained my usual skin-tight body weight. Light. Very sure of my body weigth but not too sure about my heart.
Bali around the months of June and July is the best to be around. Cool winds, kite flying, chilly night and a bright blue sky in the day.
Unfortunately, there are those almost who might spoiled your day. Walking around the streets are some special people, the young richie Joes and Janes with japanese slippers and pyjamas-like dress, with their face wearing face mask as though all those around them are infected with swine flu. A couple even dine with face mask on, flipping up and down the mask each time to take a bite. This is the real world. A good time to be in Bali!
