Phra Mea Phrosop. The Guardian of the Field. This piece of bronze was crafted by a renowned sculptor, Khun Thorng. He lives alone in his own ‘paradise’ with trees, ponds and sculptures dotting all over the garden but best of all is the house he built there.
The Guardian became a reality when we were discussing to have more fine art work preferably, living form which is always my favourite art subject. Human form, faces …..and finally, The Guardian.
It was first sculpted in clay and burned to such reality in shade that I finally decided to cast in bronze. With some expert hands, the bronze Guardian was finished with antique brown-black patina.
First to have a good look at the finished product was my friend, Steven…
“Steven, I believe you love every square inch of The Guardian.”
The Guardian is for sale at the Little Healthy Garden shop.
