Working in this specialised field of water management system can be interesting especially when you have the opportunities to travel to look into different problems in different places. Here in Malaysia, we faced with a different kind of problems.
There are those who love to work with us and later unknowningly, they “represented” us. Without shame they even advertised in their company website as they also provide ”Lake Management & Consultation Services” after involving with us for just one project. They are ‘copycats.’
Then come another group of people whom I labelled as ‘thieves.’ These people, without our knowledge, managed to bring along potential clients to our completed projects and claimed that they were the ones who were the designer and consultant to the water bodies projects. These ‘thieves’ also at time claimed that we are their partners. They are worst than the ‘copycats.’
But in all my life time as a water body consultant since I started, I never expected to come across ‘robbers.’ They are the worst I had ever experienced. These ‘robbers’ chose to threatened at ‘knife point’, demanded their needs at the weakest and darkest hours of my life when I was downed with cancer.
No matter how well you tried to help and guide these copycats, thieves and robbers, you cannot expect much in returns as they are copycats, thieves and robbers.
I pioneered and introduced the bio-filtration system as part of water bodies management into the building industry in 1994. I also pioneered in this specialised field of ‘lake design and management’ in 1993. It took me more than 10 years of hardwork to be accepted in the market and recognised these services which are necessary for a successful implementation of their projects.
Eventhough with vast experiences working in resorts locally and regionallly, qualified with a Diploma and a Degree, aged under the sun in the field for almost 28 years now, I am still struggling to understand the bio-filtration system and water bodies management.
Well….., to these copycats, thieves and robbers, if you are so obssessed with lake design and water bodies management with the our bio-filtration system, I personally invite you to join us and work together rather than cheating the industries with your ‘fooled-yourself’ knowledge.
Love or hate me, it is all about doing things right and one day you can be proud of what you did rather than being living with shame and guilt all along your life and remain copycats, thieves and robbers.

There are people who wanted to make quick money and the quickest way is to put away moral shame and try every monkey trick possible to get there in their ways. Some made it and some don’t. Those who made it live in the comfort of their deceptions and carry along the tags with them as evil doers. Rather, I would prefer to fail with honour than to win as a cheat and lived a life in peace then a life with dishonour. The mother of all frauds is to cheat one’s self and all evil deeds follow easily after that.
“All good is hard. All evil is easy. Dying, losing, cheating, and mediocrity is easy. Stay away from easy.” – Scott Alexander
Better not invite this three individual groups: copy-cats, thieves and robbers to join and work with you because once inside your “fort” they will become a 3 in 1 trojan horses – much more dangerous.
